Skating Outdoors around London 2016

Starting in November up until after Christmas at most venues, there are a variety of places to skate outdoors around London.  This started at Somerset House and has spread to many of the iconic institutions in the capital.  Thte Natural History Museum and the Tower of London are two such places.  As well there is an ice rink at Canary Wharf, at Westfield London,Broadgate and in Hyde Park.  Outside London there is one at Hampton Court Palace and in Windsor.  You need to book a time on line as the rinks can only take so many people at a time.  Prices vary but are around 12 or 13 pounds for an adult andd 8 or 9 pounds for a child.  Some have student prices.  This includes the price of the skate rental.  I have used the skates at many of the venues and they are quite good.  Most of the venues have cafes and or bars attached so it makes for a great outing.  It is a good way to get into the spirit of Christmas.
